The Triad Minority and Women’s Business Expo returns to Winston-Salem

The 11th annual Triad Minority and Women’s Business Expo returned to the Benton Convention Center on Saturday. The event recognizes the impact that small and minority-owned businesses have on the local economy. More than 120 businesses exhibited during the exhibition, showcasing a variety of products and services. The expo also included its annual KidzBiz vendor showcase and a fashion designer showcase. The Wealth Building and Empowerment Summit took place on Friday. During the summit, attendees went to seminars and discussions led by senior business leaders and entrepreneurs. There was also a luncheon featuring a keynote address by Brian Campbell, a motivational speaker and graduate student of the University of North Carolina at Greensboro.
